Privacy Policy

Lurent collects nothing. There is no account, no analytics, no tracking, no crash reporting, and no server that belongs to us receiving anything you do in the app.

What stays on your Mac

Your projects — the source photo, the settings you chose, and the rendered wallpaper — are files on your own computer. If you use iCloud Drive they sync through your iCloud account, between your devices. We have no access to them and no way to see that they exist.

Photos

If you pick a picture from your Photos library, Lurent asks macOS for permission first. The image is used to render a wallpaper and a copy is kept inside that project so it still works if the original moves. Nothing is uploaded. Saving a finished wallpaper back into a Photos album is something you trigger explicitly.

Unsplash

Lurent can search Unsplash for a photo to start from. When you search or select a picture, your Mac talks to Unsplash's API directly — that request reaches Unsplash, not us, and is covered by Unsplash's privacy policy. Lurent sends no identifier of you along with it. Using Unsplash is optional: the app works the same with your own photos or with no photo at all.

Children

Lurent is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, regardless of age.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the date above changes with it. Since the app collects nothing, we do not expect it to say anything very different.
